Sea to Sky School District (SD48) runs along the spectacular corridor between Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton, a region of coast and mountains famous for world-class skiing, climbing and mountain biking. The district welcomes over 200 international students a year across Don Ross Middle and Howe Sound Secondary in Squamish, Whistler Secondary and Pemberton Secondary. Students can pursue a full graduation program, a year or semester abroad, or a dedicated pathway for serious athletes who train while they study. Homestay staff match students with local families by shared interests and support both throughout the stay. Taiwanese families choose Sea to Sky for its outdoor lifestyle, small-town safety and the chance to combine study with mountain sports.
